Avoid over-editing

Every edited the life out of your work-in-progress? It can happen. How to avoid it? Reach a point where your grammar is correct, and your story flows. Then sit back and click 'publish' and leave it alone.
The urge to over edit stems from a need to please. Rein it in, and let your characters speak in their true voices - unedited.
