Biography

Liz R. Newman holds an MA in Clinical Psychology, and a BA in Mass Communications with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism. Liz R. Newman worked as an intern at KTVU Broadcasting Station in Oakland, California. Several articles by Liz R. Newman have been featured in magazines and journals such as San Francisco Socialite, Spirit Song, Highlights, and The Sacramento News and Review.
Her most recent work published was A Thin Line Between Motherhood and Martyrdom on Chic Mom Magazine in print, The Irony of Good Intent in Our USA Magazine's Fall 2010 issue and a short story titled Flesh Bait in the hard copy horror anthology Under A Harvest Moon. Flesh Bait was also published in an e-zine. An article entitled The San Francisco Bay to Breakers Centennial Race by Liz R. Newman will be published the Fall 2011 issue of Our USA Magazine.
Her second novel, The Last Day King, a Young Adult and Adult Mainstream Fantasy/Time Travel Romance and the first of The Mythic Royals Trilogy, has been contracted for publication by Gypsy Shadow Publishing, and will be available in 2012 in both paperback and ebook format in many fine bookstores and ebook stores. Upon release, booksellers may order the novel through Ingram.
Liz R. Newman is also a contributor to a non-fiction book titled Keep The Pickle, Lose The Ice Cream, a project founded by Amy Osmond Cook and scheduled for release in Fall of 2012 by Sourced Media Books.
