Dragon & Hawk are the totems (animal spirit guides) of a Welsh immigrant and a Mexican-Mayan curandera--a mystic healer. Evan Jones and his family have come to the Arizona Territory of 1882 to mine copper, but the dangerous work has already taken his father's life. Evan hopes to get his brothers out of mining for good by any means, yet Fate seems to be against him.
