Juxtaposed Darkness is a dark poetry book. The book examines feelings of desperation and futility stemming from depression and self-injury. The poems are a fusion of darkness and a small bit of hope. It is my hope that these words truly provide a peek into my life as one who has been depressed for thirty some odd years. It is also my hope that those who may feel as lost as I, can find comfort in knowing that they are not alone.
