MICHAEL COLLINS MA (Oxon) MPhil DipTh CELTA MeRSA is an author, teacher and lecturer. He read Modern History at Merton College, Oxford, where he went on to take a research degree. For a number of years Michael Collins taught Western Civilization at Beijing International Studies University and now teaches at King Saud University, Riyadh. He is a regular speaker and reviewer on historical and cultural themes. He has travelled widely and is publishing The American Panorama, a field guide to American culture.
