Biography

My name is Wendi Farquharson Finn. I'm an alumnus of Buckeye Gymnastics and a graduate of The University of Illinois Chicago where I competed as a member of the Women’s Gymnastics Team from 1992 – 1996. In 1995 I was named Academic All American and in 1996 I broke the school’s record by scoring a 9.90 on balance beam.
I am currently the owner of IS Security Solutions, LLC, a professor at Franklin University and the mother of three boys. At IS Security Solutions, LLC, I work with publicly traded companies as a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) assisting in Sarbanes Oxley compliance and process improvement and re-engineering efforts. www.ISSecuritySolutions.com
In order to clear my mind of work and parenting concerns, I began creating short fictional stories and magical characters until I fell to sleep each night. Certain characters and story lines began to grow and finally I worked up the courage to turn my dreams into a literary work of art. In February of 2012 my first novel was published. It is available today at Amazon, Barnes & Nobles, Kindle and Nook.

One Fateful Night (book image did not load)
In 2012 my first novel, One Fateful Night, was published. Growing up I always longed for a character who was a gymnast. Not a little girl that was mentioned as being a gymnast in one line of a chapter, but a full fledged die-hard competitor. Since I never found what I was looking for, I decided to write a series myself!
