About this book

Tassin has attempted, for three years, to find a way to journey to the stars to free Sabre. Her search for the sword the Core lives in has been fruitless, until a serving boy finds a key one day, and Tassin discovers the sword’s whereabouts. She convinces the wicked weapon to take her to Sabre on the planet Ferrinon Four. Lost in one of the planet’s modern cities, Tassin goes to a private detective who, because she has no money, tells her to speak to a friendly hacker. Kole agrees to help her look for Sabre, but it won’t be easy to find him amongst all the other cybers on the planet.

If they find him, Tassin has to find a way to free Sabre from cyber control again. Manutim would, no doubt, have taken Sabre back to Myon Two for repairs, and it’s possible she may not be able to free him again, but at least she can make sure he doesn’t suffer anymore. What types of torture has Sabre been subjected to at Cybercorp and, if she does find and free him, will he still be the person she’s come to love?
