Harald Pedersen has bachelor's degree in behavioral science and a masters degree in psychology from Aahus University, Denmark. He is also a hobby historian and has published books on historical/biographical topics. Currently he is involved in medieval excavations at sites in northern Europe. He is also a member of the historic Haithabu commission, and occasionally give lectures at local universities.
