Biography

As of this writing, I am 53 years-old, the mother of two adult daughters, grandmother to one, and wife to my husband, Roy, for the last 34 years. I live and write in my hometown of New London, CT.

I am a writer who enjoys many facets of life but none more so than relationships. Be it between a husband and wife, brother and sister, mother and son, all relationships fascinate me and they are the centerpiece of my fiction books. In my eyes, along with the trials and tribulations we face, it is in how we treat other people that defines our character. Can a borderline alcoholic and drug addict take care of his mentally and physically challenged sister? Can a battle hardened God who comes from the most dysfunctional of all families truly know what love is? Can two second-chance lovers come together despite the rising dangers around them?

These are some of the questions my fiction works seek to answer as they keep readers turning pages.

I would like to invite you visit my website where you can take a look at my book catalog where I hope you’ll find your new favorite read. Perhaps the epic saga of the love affair between Ares God of War and Alena McLeod which begins with The Heart of War will intrigue you? Maybe you’ll find that the heartwarming and, at many times, soul-wrenching relationship between Richard Mason and his sister Hannah Rice will keep you up at night as their family secrets are revealed beginning with Genesis. Or perhaps you’d like something darker, maybe Kevin Smith and Helen Makris will keep you on the edge of your seat as the Shaw Street Strangler lurks in the shadows, in Obsession.I began my writing career in the 4th grade when the class was given its first-ever Creative Writing assignment. I put pencil to paper and was instantly transported to a place I knew that I would never want to leave. I have been publishing my works since 7th grade.

In my spare time I enjoy gardening and photography as well as cooking and baking. I also enjoy helping other authors bring their works to the world stage.

The Heart of War - Book cover
Inside the Heart of every Warrior breathes the Soul of a Hero. Even within The Heart of War. Ares God of War, is the greatest Warrior the world has ever known. He’s moody, grumpy, dominant, ravenously sexual, and above all, built like a Greek God. Suspected of killing his Daughter in-Law, Psyche, and long in exile from Olympus, the solitude of Ares’ island is interrupted when Magdalena MacLeod a brash and sometimes manipulative Fey washes up on Ares’ island after believing she’s been shipwrecked.
