A Beginner's Guide to Natural Beekeeping by Temi Odurinde. Book coverMost people the author knows or spoke to about beekeeping tend to be very enthusiastic about trying to help the bees. When the conversation got to taking the next step and becoming a beekeeper,  some of the reasons stated for not taking up beekeeping included cost, the know-how and equipment.

The author however does not agree that it needs to be as expensive as most people think. Author's Note:

If you have always wanted to help the bees and do not know how to go about it or where to start, this book will help you get started. It makes no assumptions about prior knowledge or experience. It also assumed you have a very small or no budget to spend on acquiring bees or expensive beekeeping equipment.
