About this book

Most people the author knows or spoke to about beekeeping tend to be very enthusiastic about trying to help the bees. When the conversation got to taking the next step and becoming a beekeeper,  some of the reasons stated for not taking up beekeeping included cost, the know-how and equipment.

All these are perfectly reasonable considerations before getting into beekeeping.

The author however does not agree that it needs to be as expensive as most people think. That is one of the main reasons this book was written to debunks and shows would be beekeepers how to get started in beekeeping without spending much or any money at all.  Some of the contents featured in the books were previously share at beekeeping workshops the autor run at https://www.the-hive.uk , his beekeeping website.
