About this book

Catharsis is a collection of poems and short stories, containing works of a confessionalist nature. From the Greek word meaning "purification", catharsis is the process of releasing, and thereby providing relief from, strong or repressed emotions. Varied themes, of poverty, self-harm, rape and more are explored in this book, to highlight our social imperfection.

When emotions bloom or run amok, the body purges by spilling the excess from the veins onto paper in the form of running ink. Relating to moments of joy and our cruellest dilemmas put bluntly.

With the intentions of provoking the reader and stirring a reaction.
