Finding Peace After the Loss of a Parent

Beckey Berry grew up as an only child in a very close family. Her father passed away after struggling with bladder cancer and Beckey tried to find ways to deal with the loss of a parent when you are an adult child. She wasn't able to find much in the way of comfort from someone who has been down that road before and so she wrote a book entitled "Finding Peace After the Loss of a Parent" as a memorial to her father.

"It started out as keeping a journal of the events and treatments that took place and then grew into being therapy after the loss of my father," says Beckey. I decided to self publish the book through Amazon.com so that other can glean comfort in knowing that they are not alone in their feelings during the loss of a parent or loved one.

The book is written simply with just the true feelings and words that came from the author's heart. "There were days that I couldn't write more than 2 sentences because I would be crying too much to do more." This book "Finding Peace After the Loss of a Parent" tells of the author's experiences through the struggle for ways to help her father survive and grieving process.
