Madness From the Sea recounts the tale of Frances Smith, a woman consumed by visions of a tentacled deity. Her husband, Donnie, uncovers her obsession when he reads her journal, and allies with her oldest friend, Hazel, to put an end to the madness. Despite their best efforts, Frances’ sanity continues to slip, and she finds herself aligned with the Cthulhu Cult. With the strength of the cult behind her, Frances sets sail for R’lyeh, to awaken the creature who has summoned her.
