Doc Wallace

Biography

Besides a poet, Doc Wallace is a local broadcaster and personality for TV and radio on WZTS-TV and WQAZ-FM. A professor, Doc teaches Algebra at the BridgeValley Technical College in South Charleston, WV. He is Editor of the WV State newsletter for Vandalia MENSA, "The Mensanear."

Doc holds a Ph.D. in Human Science from the California Institute for Human Science, a Master of Arts in General Psychology from the University for Humanistic Studies, a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from West Virginia University, and a Bachelor of Science from the WVU Institute of Technology.

He has poems appearing in The Violet Hour, The Blue Mountain Review, Under the Fable, Quatrain.Fish, V0Ella, Micropoetry Society, I Am Not a Silent Poet, Tomb of Words by the late Ricardo Garcia and his wife Uli, and the bilingual Where Are You From edited by Soodabeh Saeidnia. His eighth poetry book is published by Floating Comma Publishing, Northampton, UK, and he has seven of his poetry books on Amazon Kindle. He is a member of the Micropoetry Society and the Academy of American Poets.

Although his full name is Eugene R. Wallace, Jr., Ph.D., his poems appear under the nom de plume Doc Wallace.
