My name is Jean Jacques. My advice to anyone... never give up the ship... sell it. I'm an 85 years young author, and my first novel 'The Baby Factory' published last September by Solstice Publishing. I finished my second novel 'Bad Day for Harry Day' and again it will be publish by Solstice next month.
Hollywood 1960. I had the great privilege of working for the most progressive commercial studio in the US at the time, John Urie & Associates. I started as the animation director and in 1962 I directed the famous Hawaiian Punch Commercial. I also had the invaluable opportunity to work as a film editor, set designer, costumers, make-up artist, photographer, actor, writer. Wrote produced directed and acted in many award winning short subjects. Not too many people had this privilege. What a life that was.
You will be able to read all about it, I am now writing my autobio 'My Thirty Five Phoquing Years in Hollywood'. You will learn how we cheated doing commercials in those days. So much to tell about the movie stars I met and used in our commercials, the nice one and the not so nice one.
