R. G. Ziemer

Biography

Born and bred on the south side of Chicago, R. G. Ziemer has worked in the construction trades, practiced genealogy and taught English from junior high school to college. A prize winning poet, he also contributes short fiction to literary journals, and his novel The Ghost of Jamie McVay is available from Black Rose Writing. He is frequently featured at the Waterline Writers reading series in Batavia, Illinois. When not traveling farther afield, he may be found paddling his canoe on the West Branch of the DuPage River.
