Elizabeth is a pharmaceutical industry lawyer who is raising a daughter with a rare and fatal genetic illness. Galen is a neuroscientist and entrepreneur who loses everything to develop a cure. Eddy is a devoted father who enters politics with a mission to lower the cost of prescription drugs.

Their families become forever entwined as the three parents engage in a tug-of-war over a failing system of good intentions.

About The Author

Krista Tibbs grew up in northern Maine, studied neuroscience at MIT, and has spent most of her career in the biotechnology industry conducting clinical research for diseases with unmet medical needs. She has an MBA from Duke University and has served in the federal government and public education. She has published two novels and an illustrated book of short stories: The Neurology of Angels, Reflections and Tails, and Uncertainty Principles. Krista currently lives in Knoxville, Tennessee.
