Redemption's Hand

Plans are set for Martha and her friend Cindy to redeem her last days on earth quietly, remembering the goodness of God throughout her life--even if she still doesn’t know how to tell adopted son Sheriff Tony.

But this story doesn't go as planned, and God's redemption continues to amaze Martha and Tony as new twists enter the scene. Robert, the husband of Martha’s kidnapped and murdered daughter Ashley, calls Martha --asking if she can take in her two troubled grandchildren. Martha senses God's hand in it, and says yes, even though she feels weak and sick. Will the God Who is offering her grandchildren a redeeming hand of help also carry her through? And will Tony find some practical answers for the mysterious break ins at Jeremy Slat’s place?

Redemption's Hand is volume two in the Redemption at Echo Sound Series.

Author's Notes

This second book of the 'Redemption at Echo Sound' Series is all about that 'waiting' time to me--when you don't have the answers you're praying for, yet you're called to walk in faith. God calls us to trust that, in his redeeming love, he has a purpose, and that as long as we are holding his hand, he will take us where he wants us to go. On a personal note, this particular portion of the series was written at a time in my life when God had given my husband and I clear family life instructions that did not seem to make any sense. Imperfectly, we took the hand of God offered to us. We have since had the opportunity to look back and see that God was providing the path we didn't know we needed. It was almost never easy, but the pain it redeemed us from years down the road was and continues to be a blessing that far surpasses the weight of the hard times and questions we had. God's hand proves faithful to us every day, and in writing this, I want to reflect that his hands are capable and wonderful.
